Welcome to the No Congestion Charge for Cambridge Website

Do you want to be charged to drive in and out of Cambridge?

Cambridgeshire County Council is proposing a Congestion Charge for Cambridge which would operate between 07:30hrs until 09:30hrs Monday through Friday.

You would be charged between £3 and £5 per day to drive in or out of the proposed
charging zone area.

NCC believes that a congestion charge is not the solution to Cambridge’s congestion and transport problems, now or in the future.

NCC would like your opinion on the proposal of a congestion charge. The County Council have asked for opinion and NCC has been set up to collect your opinions.

NCC will pass all opinion sent into us onto Cambridgeshire County Council.

If you believe a congestion charge is not the answer, please send us your opinion along with any other ways you think Cambridge’s congestion and transport problems could be solved.

We would also like to hear from you if you support the introduction of a congestion charge and why.
